Cheviot Boat Launch

Cheviot Park is a small, 1/3 acre park located at the end of Cheviot Road near the southern Town boundary. The park includes a concrete boat launch, two floating docks, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and fishing access. The gravel parking area has space for approximately 10 cars or trailers. At low tide, look for the vestiges of an old causeway connecting what was once a bustling commercial hub to a small island in the river channel. Cheviot Park is a Hudson River Valley Greenway Water Trail site.
