Ernest R. Lasher, Jr. Memorial Park

Ernest R. Lasher Jr. Memorial Park is an approximately two-acre park located in North Germantown at the end of Anchorage Road. Enjoy access to a NYSDEC fishing site, concrete boat launch ramp, picnic tables, and charcoal grills. Also at Lasher are an information kiosk, the American Legion Flag, and a G- Tel webcam where you can wave to your friends on Germantown’s local access channel! Lasher Park is named in honor of Germantown resident Ernest Reginald Lasher, Jr who was killed in action during the Vietnam War while serving in the US Army. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his service. A memorial dedicated to him is also situated within the park. The paved parking lot can hold 20 cars or trailers. The park is a Hudson River Valley Greenway Water Trail site.
