Oakdale Park is a 14-acre public park in downtown Hudson, NY. It's home to a 4-acre spring fed lake, a small sand beach, half a mile of trails, and a small playground. Oakdale is on the site of a park first proposed for public use and enjoyment by a private developer in 1911. The City of Hudson purchased the land in 1946 and developed it for public swimming and recreation. It's walking distance from downtown Hudson and is free and open to the public.
