Olana State Historic Site

This 250-acre site is the home, studio, and designed landscape of Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church. The five and a half miles of carriage roads that travel through the farmland, meadow, and woodlands of the property are free and open to the public, offering spectacular views of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains. The park is free, and the park is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to sunset. Please note that Olana is a Carry-In, Carry-Out, tobacco-free environment. Dogs are welcome outdoors and must be leashed at all times.
